I love the raised bed gardening kits from Gardener's Supply Company. They are made of earth-friendly materials, are easy to assemble, and they are very attractive, as well.

Raised beds are great for growing vegetables: they warm the soil, lock in moisture, help cut down on weeds, and maximize your yield of delicious organic produce.

The recycled black plastic Grow Bed, 3' x 6' is a great deal and comes in a variety of sizes; it can even be taken apart for storage over the winter.



The "Fieldstone" Kit, 4' x 4' seen in the top right picture below looks like a stone wall but it is made of durable light plastic. It can be put together very easily and only a hammer is required!



The Cedar Raised Bed you see in the bottom center picture has beautiful copper corner caps; it is completely rot resistent and comes in two sizes: 3' x 3' size to use in smaller areas or in combination with the larger 3' x 6' bed.

All beds are 10-1/2 inches deep, the recommended height for growing root crops.
