Banana Almond Smoothie

This smoothie is the ultimate in comfort food- it is rich and creamy. Almonds are high in heart-protecting healthy natural fats, and contain significant amounts of vitamin E and minerals such as manganese.

Almonds are also a good source of protein and studies show they can help with weight maintenance.

If you don't have almond butter, you can use organic peanut butter instead. Peanuts are not the healthiest food in the world, but they are fine on occasion, provided you are not allergic to them.
Banana Almond Smoothie
