Do You Eat a Balanced Healthy Diet?

Eating a nutrient-rich balanced healthy diet is an integral part of the healthy green lifestyle. Good nutrition directly impacts your optimal health and wellness.

As a naturopathic doctor, I strongly believe in the benefits of healthy eating. Many illnesses involve a nutritional component and can be improved by a healthy eating diet. Healthy eating habits help you look and feel your best and prevent the possibility of developing chronic disease in the future.

After years of study, though, I recognize that no one eating style will work for everyone because we are all unique and have different metabolic needs.

The best healthy eating plan for you might be a traditional foods diet, a flexitarian diet, a gluten-free diet, a vegetarian diet, a raw foods diet, or another diet not specifically mentioned...

You can pick any healthy eating plan that stresses real whole foods (aka healthy foods), fuels your body with the nutrition it needs, and allows you to feel good about your food choices.

It usually takes some research and experimentation to find the healthy diet that is going to work best for you long-term.
